AMD are delighted to congratulate Kate Walsgrove on her appointment as the Chair of the Bristol branch of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP).

STEP is a global professional body, with more than 21,000 members comprising lawyers, accountants, trustees and other practitioners that help families plan for their futures. STEP’s objective is to inspire confidence in families planning their assets across generations by setting and upholding high professional standards, informing public policy, promoting education, and connecting practitioners globally to share knowledge and best practice.

Full STEP members, known as TEPs, are internationally recognised experts in their field, with proven qualifications and experience.

Kate has been a member of STEP since 2017 and was awarded a STEP excellence award in 2019 which acknowledges the highest performing members within STEP.

As a TEP solicitor, and now also Chair of the Bristol branch, Kate works to uphold the highest standards of professional advice in relation to her areas of practice (which include administration of complex estates, trusts, preparation of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney).
