Bristol Memory Walk success

Well done to Rebecca, Charlotte and Lucy for taking part in the Bristol Memory Walk on Saturday 28th September 2013. The walk was organised by AMD’s new charity of the year, the Bristol Alzheimer’s Society.

Despite the wet weather, spirits were far from dampened as hundreds of participants walked around the magnificent 650 acre parkland of the Blaise Castle Estate.

The route took the walkers over the gorge and up steps to the Rustic Lodge, down to the Mill, across Hazel Brook, up to the Castle itself and over the 18th century Kings Weston House.

With live music, fundraising stalls and refreshments provided the event was a real success and a great opportunity to kick start our fundraising year.

We would like to thank everyone who sponsored our walkers in raising money for this very good cause, the total of which currently stands at £291!
