AMD Training Contracts 2025/26

We now have openings to consider applications for Training Contracts to commence in September 2025 and March 2026.

Training with AMD

As we only appoint a small number of trainees each year, we are looking for candidates who have the ambition to progress their careers with AMD over the long term.

Our aim is to develop our trainees in line with our core values and provide opportunities to build marketing and business skills alongside our legal training.

AMD trainees will have close and regular contact with a supervising partner and senior members of our service teams. We actively encourage our trainees to take on responsibility and to work directly with clients, not just assist the department.

Our offices are positioned in Henleaze, Clifton Village, Whiteladies Road and Shirehampton, all offering an excellent work life balance within a short walk of the city centre. We ensure that our trainees will gain experience in at least 2 of our offices.

Requirements

Applicants should have strong academics, a law degree (or GDL) and will have completed the Legal Practice Course prior to the commencement of the training contract or be ready to commence SQE.

Some paralegal experience would be welcomed but is not essential.

AMD trainees should have excellent communication skills, a desire to make a positive impact on our clients and should bring energy and teamwork sills to our existing teams.

Training Seats

The training contract will include core seats which will be discussed alongside the needs of AMD and any particular areas of interest. AMD trainees will have the opportunity to gain experience in:

Corporate and Commercial;

Family Law;

Residential and Commercial Property;

Private Client; and

Civil and Commercial Litigation.

How to apply

Applications should be sent by cover letter and CV to applications@amdsolicitors.com

Applications for September 2025 training contracts should be received by 31 March 2025 and for March 2026 training contract, by 1 October 2025.
