With the response to COVID-19 changing by the hour, we are committed to ensuring our operations allow us to continue to provide our usual high standards of client service.
18 March 2020
With the global and national response to COVID-19 changing by the hour, we are doing all we can to ensure that our current instructions and new enquiries are met in line with our core values and usual standards.
What is becoming an increasingly challenging time, the safety or our teams and clients remains of paramount importance. We have therefore taken, and will continue to take, all necessary steps to ensure this is the case.
AMD service and meetings at our offices
Whilst all our offices remain open, we have temporarily changed the way we are conducting client meetings. At each of our offices and on all email signatures we have made clear to our clients and suppliers that the following shall apply until further notice:
- Visiting our offices – To protect our visitors, clients and members of staff, we would request that you only visit our office if you have a scheduled appointment.
- Appointments – to schedule an appointment at this office, please telephone 0117 973 5647 or email to email@example.com.
- Policy on appointments – If you, or a member of your household, or someone you have been in contact with, is experiencing symptoms of coronavirus or if you, or a member of your household, or someone you have been in contact with has travelled from an area affected by the outbreak and NHS Guidance is to stay at home then we would politely request that you do not schedule an appointment or visit our office until you are well or it is safe to do so.
- Communicating with us – Whenever possible, we would ask that you contact our offices by telephone or e-mail. Post should only be used when necessary. If you have any documents to deliver to our office, please use the postbox below.
In terms of how our teams are continuing to work, we have put in place measures should any of our offices have to temporarily close.
We have comprehensive business continuity plans in place. All our lawyers have or will have access to home computer systems which they use on a daily basis and can connect securely to the firm’s network from wherever they may be working. This means that if required, we will be able to implement remote working so that our services can be provided irrespective of the location of our people or the length of time this may be required.
We have unfortunately had to cancel our upcoming talks but these will be rescheduled for later in the year.
We appreciate that this a challenging time for us all and we may have to make further adjustments to the way we provide our services. Please follow our updates or contact us in the usual way if you have any questions. In the meantime, we will continue our commitment to provide our high levels of client service to all AMD clients.
