Over the last year and a half, we have been fundraising for Jonathan’s Voice. We are pleased to announce that we have fundraised a sum of £1,212.80! Jonathan’s Voice was founded in late 2017 in memory of Jonathan McCartney who tragically took his own life. Their purpose is to work with organisations and individuals to promote mental wellbeing in the workplace and beyond, particularly relevant over the last few years. Fundraising has been difficult in recent times, but, amongst others, we were delighted to host a stall in the Henleaze Christmas Fayre. We also served mulled wine and offered homemade baked goods baked by AMD’s finest bakers. Congratulations to the winners of our hamper raffle, and ‘Guess the Bear’s name’ competition.
This year, we are pleased to announce that we will be supporting the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity. Great Western Air Ambulance is one of the busiest air ambulances in the UK, delivering critical care and pre-hospital emergency medicine to the local regions. The first fundraising event we have held so far this year was a sale of homemade macarons, baked by our Trainee Solicitor, Aleksandra Wegera. We have fundraised a sum of £120 so far! Yum!
