Each year, staff at AMD nominate a charity of the year to partner with and raise money through a variety of fundraising activities, as well as donations from the firm. This year we have chosen Flamingo Chicks as our charity of the year and a small team of brave athletes are taking up the challenge of the Bristol Half Marathon to raise funds. Lauren Carly, Lucy Mayger, Samuel Gan and Tom Halliday have been training heavily for the distance and will be grateful for any support given to our team for the event on 19 May 2024.

Flamingo Chicks is a multi-award-winning national charity and inclusive community that gives disabled children the opportunity to explore dance and movement. Over 30,000 children have danced with Flamingo Chicks across the UK since their first class in 2013. The charity champions young disabled voices and delivers pioneering activities to develop and support the confidence, creative expression and physical competencies of the children they serve.
