Tony joined AMD in March 2025 following AMD’s acquisition of Hughes Enterprise Law Practice. Tony has over 40 years experience as a solicitor, much of which gained in a top 50 law firm.

Tony was accredited as a mediator with the ADR Group in 1999 and has, since then acted as lead mediator, co-mediator, observer and party adviser in a wide range of mediations, specialising in the resolution of commercial disputes. Tony has frequently lectured on the use of mediation, and has facilitated courses on mediation techniques for new and experienced mediators, including mediation training for Polish judges in March 2004 (London) and April 2005 (Warsaw). In 2019 he was a judge in the UK Student Mediation Competition and in the University of the West of England Student mediation competition.

Tony is also a member of the Association of South West Mediators, the Institute of Directors and the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association, a Trustee for Resolve West (Bristol Mediation) and Vice Chair and Registrar of the Association of South West Mediators.
