Our corporate team led by Grant McCall were delighted to advise the selling shareholders on the sale of The Glassboat to Bramley and Gage Limited.
The Glassboat Restaurant is an iconic piece of Bristol’s landscape which started out as a working barge in the 1920s. The Glassboat was built in 1986 and went on to become an iconic, fine dining restaurant.
Bramley and Gage are looking forward to building on the successful history of the Glassboat by using the vessel as a brand showcase for their distillery in the exciting and vibrant city of Bristol. Visitors will be able to buy their range by the bottle, try a selection of gin based drinks and learn about gin through masterclasses, cocktail courses and gin blending events.
Bramley and Gage distil their own multi-award winning Six O’clock Gin so it is great to see an exciting new chapter for the Glassboat.
