A huge congratulations to the AMD Team that completed The Great Bristol Run yesterday. It is estimated around some 15,000 runners took part in what is reported to be the biggest event to date.
Training could not prepare for the recent good weather and temperatures of c 20 degrees would have made for a really tough test on the day.
Our team of Lauren Carley, Lucy Mayger, Sam Gan and Tom Halliday raised a total of £1,950 for our charity of the year, Flamingo Chicks. For 3 of our runners this was their first half marathon so a big thank you to all involved for your dedication and training and to all those who made such generous donations.
