We are delighted to announce 4 appointments that strengthen and complement our core services and commitment to client service.
Over the last few months we have expanded 2 of our core service areas. And acquired a highly experienced sole practitioner practice through the acquisition of Hughes Enterprise Law Practice.
Further expanding our Private Client team, Sarah Trigg has been appointed Head of Probate and Estate Administration. Raquel Marvani has joined the team as Head of Wills and LPAs. The appointments in Private Client are joined by Jennifer Chudleigh in our Family team. Tony Hughes, in our Disputes and Litigation team. The above appointments reflect our ongoing growth plans and commitment to meet the demands and high service level requirements for our clients.
Hughes Enterprise Law
Hughes Enterprise Law Practice has been providing commercial and business advice, dispute resolution and mediation to owner managers, shareholders, directors, family businesses and others since 2006.
Tony Hughes, formerly Principal of Hughes Enterprise Law Practice, brings to AMD over 40 years of legal experience (building on experience gained in top law firms).
Tony is a member of the Association of South West Mediators, a Trustee and acting co-chair of Resolve West (Bristol Mediation) and Vice Chair and Registrar of the Association of South West Mediators.
The acquisition bolsters AMD’s commercial, litigation and mediation services to business, employers, organisations and individuals in the following areas of business law:
- Diagnostic legal advice to businesses;
- Business Co-ownership issues including
- Shareholder disputes;
- Partnership and LLP disputes;
- Family business disputes;
- Shareholder Agreements;
- Implementing business exits;
- Director’s duties and conflicts of interest;
- Advice on business contracts;
- Commercial contract disputes;
- Protecting business interests and confidential information using restrictive covenants;
- Professional negligence;
- Multi-party disputes;
- Landlord and tenant matters;
- Right of way, boundary and other property disputes;
- Disputes in respect of the co-ownership of property.
Private Client
Sarah Trigg joined AMD in 2024 having previously specialised in the administration and supervision of complex estates for a national provider of Probate and Estate Administration services. Sarah will play a pivotal role in building on and developing the strengths of our estate administration offering.
Raquel Marvani joins the Private Client team as Head of Wills and LPAs. With over 10 years specialist experience in complex wills and LPAs, gained in larger national and similar sized firms. Raquel prepares Wills and LPAs of all complexities for families and individuals, and Business LPAs for commercial clients.
Family Team
Jennifer Chudleigh joins our Family team as a Solicitor, bringing over 15 years’ experience in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce and financial remedies, child arrangements, support for unmarried couples, cohabitation disputes, pre-nuptial agreements and injunction proceedings.
