It is important for the directors of a company to have employment contracts with the company. Directors Service Agreements set out the rights and benefits of a director whilst in office and also their responsibilities and obligations as an officer of the company.
The Directors Service Agreement operates as a shield to protect the director’s rights as officer of the company and as a sword in the hands of the Company to enforce any wrongdoing by the directors.
